"Perhaps it is the will of the Force that the Jedi and all of your kind perish!" he shouts as the elements engulf him and he vanishes. Bendu's eyes shine yellow as he turns dark and clouds swirl around him. The Jedi angers Bendu by calling him "a coward," revealing a surprising streak of pride in the strange being. Ultimately, he was drawn back in when he saw how the Empire treated innocents. Kanan pleads with Bendu for help, recalling that he once tried to renounce his Jedi ways and stay out of war. "You have brought war to my quiet world Kanan Jarrus, Jedi Knight," says the Force-neutral being. Several rebel ships are destroyed and Sato orders them to "charge the blockade." The Gauntlet and Ghost engage the TIEs, while the Y-Wings of Green Squadron start to bomb the Star Destroyers. He also tells Konstantine to hold his Inderdictor cruiser back, but the admiral doesn't seem impressed by the conservative approach. In orbit, Thrawn recognizes Dodonna's tactics and so he orders his Star Destroyers to "reinforce the center" as TIE fighters commence their smaller attack. He's not going to be alone in the escape from Atollon though, as the Gauntlet is backed up by Zeb (Steve Blum) and Clone Commander Rex (Dee Bradley Baker) aboard the Ghost. "May the Force be with me," mutters Ezra as he realizes the off-planet mission rests on his shoulders. We know he's talking about Bendu, but it would appear that hasn't tried to explain this mysterious being to his non-Jedi allies. However, Kanan says he has to stay on Atollon so he can try to enlist some help. She tells Ezra and Kanan to take the Gauntlet fighter that the teen stole from Maul, since their Jedi abilities will give them the best chance of escaping. Hera deduces that Thrawn thinks the entire rebel fleet is present, so she decides that they need to send one ship to get help. When Lothal rebel leader Ryder Azadi (Clancy Brown) informs them via hologram that most of the Imperial fleet has left the system, Hera realizes that they've been discovered and orders all ships to battle stations. On Atollon, the rebels are perplexed by Kallus' truncated message. Finally armed with the intel he's been seeking for the whole season, Thrawn immediately orders Konstantine to deploy the fleet. We know that Chopper erased Atollon from the Empire's records, but the cultured Thrawn recalls that the system is referenced "in the art of the ancient people of this sector" and pinpoints the world. The blue-skinned villain uses the points where trajectories of Dodonna's fleet and the Fulcrum transmission intersect to determine the location of the rebel base, but it appears to be in an empty section of space. "You have the heart of a rebel," says the smug Thrawn, but Kallus decides that it's a compliment. They engage in a brief fistfight, but Thrawn finishes it by kicking the treacherous agent against a railing and two Death Troopers take him into custody. Kallus finds his signal jammed and turns to find the grand admiral standing in the doorway behind him. "This is Fulcrum with an urgent message," he says. Grand Admiral Thrawn uses Fulcrum's tranmission to figure out where the hidden rebel base is.
